Managing Partner

Tony’s mission at Beetroot is, as he puts it, “to match ethical investors with start-up superstars who are looking for seed funding to catapult them into long trousers”. 

He believes commercial, environmental and ethical sustainability are critical to a successful investment outcome in today’s world and he is committed to supporting entrepreneurs who show they have the courage to succeed, and investors who have the courage to back them. 

Tony is an award-winning entrepreneur founding successful (and unsuccessful) start-ups and latterly holding senior operational positions in larger SMEs. His hands-on style focuses on establishing high performing teams and developing winning cultures that deliver operational excellence.

Managing Partner

Will gets real satisfaction from working closely with entrepreneurs and small business owners and helping them take their organisations to their next level. 

His skill is in identifying opportunities and ideas then executing these to fully exploit commercial potential, and he takes immense pride in helping a business flourish and develop into a mature sustainable entity.

Will has started and been involved in small businesses in multiple sectors for the last 15 years, from construction to manufacturing and distribution. He is very much a people person, building strong relationships with team members. His problem solving, analytical way of working ensures that there isn’t a problem that can't be solved.
